Guggenheim Securities Hires Ken Sena to Expand Coverage in TMT Sector

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Ken Sena will join the firm as a Senior Managing Director.

Mr. Sena will join Guggenheim from Evercore ISI where he served as a senior managing director covering internet companies for the past six years. Previously, he worked at Credit Suisse and Bear Stearns, where he focused on consumer internet, media, and entertainment companies. Before joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Sena spent seven years at MTV Networks, Showtime Networks, and Time Inc. working in corporate development and other capacities. He started his career as an investment banking analyst at Salomon Smith Barney.

“Ken will be a tremendous addition to our firm,” said Gerald Donini, Co-CEO of Guggenheim Securities. “Ken is a true thought leader in helping frame the evolution of the internet and disruptive technologies. His strong thematic approach will complement our institutional expertise across TMT and strengthen our coverage of other sectors confronting technology induced change.”

Mr. Sena received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and his BSE from the Wharton School. He will be based in Guggenheim’s New York and San Francisco offices.
