NEW YORK – Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Barry Knapp has joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director.
Mr. Knapp joins Guggenheim from BlackRock, where he was a Managing Director of Fixed Income Investment Management. Prior to BlackRock, he was a Managing Director and Chief U.S. Equity Portfolio Strategist at Barclays. Before joining Barclays, he worked at Lehman Brothers as a Managing Director, focused on Principal Strategies and Trading.

Mr. Knapp earned his M.B.A. from Fordham University and his B.A. in economics from the University of Rhode Island. He is based in Guggenheim’s New York Office.
